The Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team has unveiled two significant collaborations, partnering with CoreWeave as its official AI cloud computing provider and establishing a multi-year strategic licensing agreement with the smartphone giant, realme.
These alliances underscore Aston Martin F1’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology for on-track performance and expanding its global brand presence.
Aston Martin F1 is set to revolutionise its data-driven engineering processes by migrating its on-premises computing infrastructure to CoreWeave’s specialised AI cloud platform. This multi-year partnership with the “AI Hyperscaler” aims to dramatically enhance the team’s computational agility, efficiency, and overall performance.
Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome CoreWeave to the team. In the fast-paced world of Formula One, AI cloud computing infrastructure is a decisive edge, and CoreWeave’s cutting-edge platform, purpose-built for accelerated computing, will be instrumental in unlocking new levels of performance. United by a fierce ambition to win, we’re excited to harness the power of AI cloud computing together, transforming drive and passion into on-track results.”
The transition is expected to eliminate hardware constraints, providing Aston Martin F1 with the speed and expertise necessary for advanced data analysis and design. A key benefit of this move is the anticipated reduction in the time required to design critical car components, directly impacting the team’s competitive edge on the track.
Further solidifying their partnership, the team’s newly operational wind tunnel, which began operations in early March, will be officially named the CoreWeave Wind Tunnel. CoreWeave’s branding will also make its debut on the AMR25 car at this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix.
Brian Venturo, Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of CoreWeave, added, “As a lifelong Formula One fan and a passionate supporter of Aston Martin, it’s an incredible opportunity to partner with a team that represents the cutting edge of performance and innovation. Formula One is a proving ground for what’s possible when talent, technology, and ambition align. With CoreWeave’s AI cloud platform, we’re excited to unlock new opportunities in data-driven engineering and help accelerate Aston Martin Aramco’s pursuit of excellence on and off the track.”
In a groundbreaking move for the team, Aston Martin Aramco F1 has also forged a multi-year strategic licensing agreement with realme, a globally recognised smartphone brand. This partnership will see the launch of the team’s first-ever co-branded smartphone series.
The inaugural product of this collaboration is the realme GT 7 Dream Edition. This unique smartphone will prominently feature Aston Martin’s iconic two-wing design and will be finished in the team’s signature Aston Martin Green colour.
The agreement extends beyond a single device, with Aston Martin F1 and realme committing to jointly develop two co-branded smartphone models annually throughout the partnership. This initiative aims to blend realme’s technological innovation with Aston Martin’s legacy of precision engineering and iconic design, reaching a younger, tech-savvy consumer base.
Matt Chapman, Head of Licensing and Merchandise, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, said, “It’s a pleasure to welcome realme to the team, with the launch of our first-ever co-branded phone. The GT 7 Dream Edition combines high performance with innovative design, and we look forward to working together on the collaboration of future models.”

These dual partnerships signify Aston Martin F1’s aggressive strategy to not only enhance its competitive edge through advanced computational power but also to expand its brand presence into new and dynamic consumer markets.
