Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team has solidified its strategic ambitions by elevating its collaboration with the Saudi Arabian Mining Company, Maaden, to a groundbreaking principal partnership. This landmark agreement marks a significant milestone for the team, establishing Maaden as a cornerstone ally in its pursuit of on-track excellence and global expansion.

The enhanced partnership signifies Maaden’s strategic vision to amplify its global brand presence, attract top-tier talent, and accelerate its ambitious “10x growth strategy” by leveraging the unparalleled platform of Formula 1. As a principal partner, Maaden’s branding will feature prominently on the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One car, showcasing this powerful alliance to a worldwide audience of millions.

Beyond the visible branding, Maaden has launched a compelling new campaign, “Unearth Your Greatness,” to underscore the shared values of dedication and mastery that drive both the F1 team and the mining industry. This campaign celebrates the relentless pursuit of excellence, highlighting the craftsmanship and talent inherent in achieving greatness.

Headquartered in Riyadh, Maaden, established in 1997, is the largest mining company in the Middle East, playing a pivotal role in Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification. The company focuses on the extraction and processing of essential minerals, including gold, phosphate, and aluminium, contributing significantly to the nation’s industrial and export growth.

Aston Martin Aramco’s strategic alliance with Maaden underscores the team’s commitment to forging enduring partnerships with organizations that share a vision for success. Looking ahead to the 2025 F1 season, Aston Martin Aramco is building on a solid foundation, having finished fifth in the 2024 Constructors’ Championship. The team has maintained stability with an unchanged driver lineup, featuring Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, returning for their third season together. To bolster its leadership, Andy Cowell has assumed the role of Team Principal and CEO, while Mike Krack has transitioned to Chief Trackside Officer. The team has also retained Felipe Drugovich and Stoffel Vandoorne as test and reserve drivers.

The 2025 season preparations are well underway, with the livery reveal scheduled for February 18 at the F1 75 Live season launch in London, followed by the car unveiling on February 23. Pre-season testing will commence in Sakhir on February 26, leading up to the season opener in Australia on March 16. This meticulous planning reflects Aston Martin Aramco’s unwavering commitment to a strong start and a successful 2025 campaign.
