Aspect Sports has partnered with Pinkathon, India’s largest women’s running event, as the official sports partner, with the goal of developing training paths and promoting long-term engagement in women’s running across India.
The partnership incorporates Aspect Sports’ emphasis on coaching, performance development, and grassroots sport into Pinkathon’s national running platform.
Aspect Foundation will provide structured, year-round running programs to 100 young girls in Mumbai and Delhi as part of the agreement. The effort will concentrate on frequent coaching, fitness testing, and exposure to competitive and community events, thereby facilitating early entry into organised sport and establishing a better grassroots running pipeline.
Pinkathon provides an additional layer of structure and continuity to its mass-participation model. Aspect Sports will incorporate expert-led coaching modules, technology-assisted training tools, and curated fitness sessions into upcoming city editions, starting with Mumbai, to provide participants with a clear path beyond race day.
Beyond training and performance, the alliance will emphasise the importance of nutrition and recovery in a runner’s journey. As part of the partnership, Aspect Hospitality created a special Pinkathon Menu tailored just for women runners, which was debuted during Brunch & Cake before to race day. The campaign promotes a holistic approach to running by incorporating fitness, nutrition, and long-term well-being as vital components of the Pinkathon experience.
Aksha Kamboj, Executive Chairperson, Aspect Global Ventures, and Owner, Tiigers of Kolkata, said, “Pinkathon has created scale and visibility for women’s running in India. Our focus is on what comes next—introducing training frameworks and tools that help convert participation into long-term sporting pathways.”
Aspect Global Ventures specialises in sports, wellness, and community development, with an emphasis on accessibility and performance. Its sports vertical, Aspect Sports, focuses on the interface of grassroots sport and innovation, filling gaps in structured coaching, mentorship, and training systems. The initiative, which is centred on the subject “HER,” seeks to inspire more women to pursue running as a regular sporting activity.
Milind Soman, Founder of Pinkathon, said, “Aspect Sports brings a training and development lens that complements what Pinkathon has built over the years. By strengthening what happens beyond race day, we can help more women stay engaged with running in a way that supports confidence, performance, and long-term wellbeing.”
As women’s running grows throughout age groups and cities, the Aspect Sports-Pinkathon collaboration frames itself as a step towards establishing a more structured and sustainable running ecosystem in India. Pinkathon, established in Mumbai in 2012, has developed into a national women’s running platform with over half a million participants in numerous locations.
