Netball Australia (NA) has expanded its long-standing partnership with ASICS, elevating the sportswear brand from a footwear partner to its official head-to-toe apparel partner as part of an expanded agreement spanning the Australian Diamonds and the wider netball community.

The partnership builds on more than two decades of collaboration between the two organisations and will now see ASICS provide footwear, match and training apparel, as well as replica merchandise. The expansion gives ASICS a broader presence across both the performance and commercial sides of Australian netball.

The renewed partnership was announced alongside the unveiling of a new Australian Diamonds match dress, which will make its competitive debut against New Zealand in the 2026 Constellation Cup on 18 October. The new kit will also be worn by the Diamonds as they prepare for the 2027 Netball World Cup in Sydney.

Netball Australia CEO Mark Falvo said, “This partnership extension is a real celebration of everything ASICS and Netball Australia have built together over more than two decades. ASICS shares our belief that the game should be supported at every level, from the grassroots courts where future generations of Diamonds are discovering their love of netball, right through to the elite level where our national team competes on the world’s biggest stages.”

“We’re incredibly grateful for the investment the ASICS team continues to make in our athletes and their performance. And we couldn’t be more excited to bring this new range to fans, giving them the chance to wear the green and gold with the same pride our Diamonds carry every time they step onto the court.”

Mark Brunton, Managing Director of ASICS Oceania, added, “As a long-standing partner of Netball Australia, we are incredibly proud of the legacy of this relationship, one that has seen us work closely together to celebrate and champion the role sport plays in the lives of Australians of all ages, uniting communities through a shared love of movement that uplifts both body and mind.

“We are deeply honoured to extend our partnership, evolving from a footwear-only agreement into a true head-to-toe relationship. With player collaboration a pivotal part of the dress redesign process, the result is something we hope athletes are incredibly proud to wear. It reflects both the legacy of the green and gold and the calibre of athlete it has been designed for.”

The new dress was developed in collaboration with Diamonds players, with athlete feedback incorporated into its design to address performance, comfort and movement. It features a mesh racer-back panel for breathability and curved underarm panels designed to provide greater freedom of movement.

The uniform also features a refreshed version of ‘Ganurra’, an artwork by Yorta Yorta artist Alkina Edwards. Meaning “blaze” in the Yorta Yorta language, the artwork represents themes of unity, connection and cultural heritage.

The new replica range will be available from 12 October through ASICS Australia and selected retail partners, adding a direct fan-commerce element to the expanded partnership ahead of the 2027 Netball World Cup on home soil.
