The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has reportedly inked a new sponsorship pact with the full-stack used car platform, Spinny, for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
With this deal, the brand has been named the official global sponsor of the tournament, which is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28.
Spinny makes a bold move into large-scale athletic sponsorships. Cricket, particularly in the Asian market, provides unrivaled reach and fan interaction. The Asia Cup gives Spinny access to millions of spectators across the continent, particularly during major matches like India vs Pakistan, which typically attract record-breaking broadcast and digital viewership.
Spinny is projected to enjoy extensive in-stadium visibility, which include LED perimeter boards, sponsor backgrounds, and digital signage. This exposes the brand to those attending matches as well as those watching live or on replay. Most likely, the brand will also have its advertisements played between between overs throughout the continental competition.
Spinny’s cooperation with the ACC, first announced in-detailed by SportsMint Media, mirrors a larger trend of Indian consumer brands turning to cricket to increase customer engagement. With the Asia Cup providing a high-profile, pan-Asian platform, the brand is putting itself at the center of one of the region’s most passionate sports communities.
The Asia Cup 2025 will be contested in T20 format. The tournament will have eight teams: full members India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, as well as qualifying nations UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong. The UAE, which has hosted previous editions successfully, is set to provide a world-class watching and stadium experience.
