Italian Serie A club AS Roma has joined hands with fan engagement platform Iqoniq adding the brand to the sponsorship portfolio of the club. After signing a three year deal with Roma, Iqoniq will become the sleeve sponsor of the club across the Serie A and Coppa Italia competitions.
The new partnership will see Iqoniq providing its services to the club to boost fan engagement activities across digital, social media platforms, and Stadio Olimpico stadium. Since Roma boasts a healthy fan following, it is essential to improve engagement facilities with fans to stay connected with them.
Pandemic has forced the sports teams to come up with new innovative ways to interact with the fans. Fan engagement is not just about Social media and streaming, but utilizing digital platform and technology to provide the audience the best in house experience.
Iqoniq has recently signed multiple deals within football and across the sports industry. These include agreements with Spanish football’s LaLiga and one of its clubs, Real Sociedad, English Premier League club Crystal Palace, French teams AS Monaco and Olympique Marseille, as well as Russia’s Zenit St.Petersburg.
Apart from Football, Iqoniq also agreed deals with EuroLeague Basketball, European Handball Federation, and F1’s McLaren Racing and Drone Champions League.
Iqoniq recently signed a deal with Beach Soccer Worldwide, becoming their official fan engagement partner for a three-year deal.
