AS Roma have expanded their commercial portfolio after announcing a strategic partnership with Italian precious metals specialist Orodei, which has joined the Serie A club as its latest gold partner.

The agreement will see Orodei’s branding feature on the back of the men’s first-team training kit, while the two organisations collaborate to deliver innovative fan-focused initiatives centred on wealth preservation and digital financial services. The partnership will also leverage Orodei24, the company’s digital platform for investing in and managing precious metals, to provide supporters with access to certified investment solutions focused on gold and other safe-haven assets.

The collaboration underscores AS Roma’s strategy of broadening its sponsorship ecosystem by attracting partners from emerging business sectors beyond traditional consumer brands. By integrating financial services into its commercial offering, the club aims to create additional value for supporters while strengthening its off-the-pitch revenue portfolio through innovative brand partnerships.

Michael Gandler, Chief Business Officer at AS Roma, said, “We are pleased to welcome Orodei to our family of partners, with the aim of providing our fanbase with alternative financial services and digitally-driven solutions. This agreement is part of our ongoing strategy to diversify our commercial partnerships, focusing on a consolidated sector such as safe-haven assets, and offering our supporters certified, premium tools for managing their savings.”

Antonio Maesano, President of Orodei, added, “We are proud to partner with AS Roma, a club with a rich history and tradition, whose profound connection to its community is recognised worldwide. Our goal is to work alongside the club to make this bond even stronger. We want to support the fans by combining their passion with a tangible investment focused on safe-haven assets, security, and the economic stability of families through gold assets.”

Orodei is an authorised gold dealer regulated by the Bank of Italy, specialising in the trading and management of precious metals. Although financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, the partnership further strengthens AS Roma’s growing commercial portfolio while highlighting the increasing presence of financial services and alternative investment brands within the global sports sponsorship landscape.
