AS Monaco collaborates with Purnell

AS Monaco and Purnell's collaboration includes the development of an exclusive co-branded collection.

The Ligue 1 club, AS Monaco, have announced a new partnership with the Swiss luxury watch company, Purnell. Following the deal, Purnell has become the club’s official timekeeper until 2025.

AS Monaco and Purnell’s collaboration includes the development of an exclusive co-branded collection, the models will be officially launched in the spring of 2022. The display of the new products will be at the club’s iconic locations like Stade Louis-II and the Performance Centre.

Purnell stands out in the field of avant-garde fine watchmaking, particularly in the tourbillon, which is a mechanism used in watches that combines beauty and luxury.

Oleg Petrov, Vice President General Manager of AS Monaco, said, “We are delighted to welcome Purnell to the AS Monaco family. Purnell is a brand known for its know-how, its audacity, its sense of innovation and performance, notions that fit perfectly with our philosophy. We are looking forward to this collaboration.”

 Maurizio Mazzocchi, CEO of Purnell, commented, “Like our watches, AS Monaco represents prestige, style and dynamism. Our two brands are rare jewels in their respective fields, and we fully identify with AS Monaco’s slogan: RISE. RISK. REPEAT!”

Purnell designs watch that is inspired by movement, performance, and mechanical prowess, bringing “MORE FUTURE THAN PAST” to the world of fine watchmaking. Purnell was established in Geneva, with headquarters in the heart of the Rue du Rhône.

In 2021, the brand also collaborated with France Football and the Ballon d’Or to present an exclusive movement designed by Eric Coudray. Purnell’s core values prioritise excellence and performance above all else.

With 33 points, the French club is currently eighth in the Ligue 1 standings. On Sunday, February 6, they will face the seventh place, Olympique Lyonnais FC.
