Arnold Clark acquires title sponsorship rights of FA’s new women tournament

England will host the Arnold Clark Cup, Canada, Spain and Germany are expected to be a part of it.

Arnold Clark, the UK car retailer, has secured title sponsorship rights of the FA‘s new women’s national team tournament. The competition will take place in England next year and feature the host nation plus three of the world’s other top 10 teams.

The Glasgow – based Arnold Clark has signed a multi-year title sponsorship contract, the deal was brokered by the Pitch International agency. Pitch is a long-standing partner agency of the FA and the creator behind the concept of the competition and will be managing the event.

The games will be played at Molineux and Carrow Road, home of the Premier League clubs, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Norwich City, respectively as well as Middlesbrough’s Riverside system.

The matches will be played from February 17 to 23. The first match will be played between Canada and Wiegman’s Troops at the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough. Later on, it will be joined by the star-studded Spain side, which includes the Barcelona superstar Alexia Putellas, at Norwich City Carrow Road base.
