APM inks sponsorship deal with Hockey Australia

APM Ingeus will also be featured on the front of the Hockeyroos shirt for the FIH Hockey Women's World Cup 2022.

APM has announced a new three-year front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with Hockey Australia women’s team for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

With a raise throughout all hockey sessions, particularly pre-international hockey games, and a rapid expansion of Hockey Australia’s inclusive hockey programme footprint, the collaboration is exciting news for players across Australia.

APM will be the Hockeyroos’ major partner, the Kookaburra’s official partner, and Hockey Australia’s exclusive category partner – disability service provider, with the primary goal of enabling better lives.

Hockey Australia CEO, David Pryles, said, “Securing a company of APM’s calibre and reputation is an outstanding result for the Hockeyroos, Kookaburras and hockey in Australia. APM’s purpose, values and what they stand for strongly align with Hockey Australia’s values so we are delighted to have the APM team come on board with us.

“APM is making a positive impact on many people in Australia and around the world and are about inspiring excellence and empowering people to realise their ambitions and aspirations. We as Hockey Australia and the Hockeyroos and Kookaburras look forward to proudly promoting and raising awareness of this impact and the APM brand. APM’s commitment and support of our national teams will substantially contribute to the Hockeyroos and Kookaburras’ continual mission of becoming the world’s best hockey teams.”

Group Chief Executive Officer, Michael Anghie, said, “APM is very proud to partner with the Hockeyroos, Hockey Australia and to support all-abilities hockey and the inclusive hockey program. Sport inspires and brings people together as participants and supporters and the Hockeyroos through their success and player engagement within the community play an important role in supporting inclusion. The Hockeyroos are great role models for all Australians, and we look forward to following their success.”

In addition to Commonwealth Games, APM Ingeus will also be the name that will be featured on the front of the Hockeyroos shirt for the FIH Hockey Women’s World Cup 2022 which will take place from July 1 to July 17.

APM procured Ingeus in 2018 which is a leading international supplier of government-sponsored employment programmes and people-based assistance.

The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will take place from July 28 to August 8, with the hockey tournament taking place at the University of Birmingham Hockey and Squash Centre from July 29 to August 8.
