Amazon Prime France to broadcast Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic QF for free

Roland Garros and the OTT giant have signed a broadcasting agreement from 2021 to 2023.

Two of the most renowned names in tennis, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic will take on each other for the third consecutive time at the French Open. The two legendary players will square off in the quarterfinals of the ongoing edition. The high octane fixture will be available on Amazon Prime France on Tuesday for free.

Roland Garros and the OTT giant have signed a broadcasting agreement from 2021 to 2023, with 10 nighttime games included in the deal.

Djokovic has been on a dream run lately as the Serbian player has won his previous nine matches at the Italian Open and French Open.

On the other end, Nadal has returned after a foot injury and didn’t drop a set in the first three games of the event.

Viewers from around the globe will be looking forward to yet another historic fixture between the two greats of the sport. Fans from India can witness the game live on Wednesday, June 1 at 12:15 AM IST. Sony Pictures Network (SPN) has acquired exclusive media rights to the French Open. The live coverage of the game in India will be available on Sony TEN 2, Sony TEN 3, Sony TEN 4 and Sony SIX, along with the network’s OTT platform, SonyLIV.

The sports broadcasting baron has been providing coverage in four languages – English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
