Amad Diallo’s loan move to Feyenoord collapses

Diallo made his debut for Manchester United last season.

Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo’s potential loan move to the Dutch team Feyenoord has collapsed after he suffered a late injury in training. As a result, Feyenoord has rejected to accept the player as he has not been able to clear the medical tests. It’s an unfortunate situation as Amad Diallo’s deal was almost completely done but the injury prevents him from going.

He got injured, it’s cancelled. Too bad, everything was done. I’ve talked a lot with the people at Manchester United, but it’s more sensible to let him recover at that club. It may be a while before he comes back,” said Feyenoord technical director Frank Arnesen.

With the amount of attacking options that Ole Gunnar Solskjær has at the moment, it will be difficult for him to get any playing time. Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and now Cristiano Ronaldo– it’s a tough nut to crack for a youngster.

Diallo made his debut for Manchester United last season and featured in a total of eight games for the Red Devils. Moreover, he made three appearances in the Premier League with a wonder goal against AC Milan in a UEFA Europa League knockout fixture.
