The provider of PV modules and solar systems, Alpex Solar Ltd. has signed the World Cup-winning Indian coach, Rahul Dravid, as its first brand ambassador.
In this arrangement, Dravid will be batting for Alpex Solar’s initiatives of raising awareness about renewable energy and encouraging the utilisation of solar power. As per the company, the former Indian skipper’s inclusion will expand the company’s reach and assist the entity in catering to homeowners and big enterprises that aim to cut down their carbon footprint.
Speaking on the association, Rahul Dravid, an Indian cricketing legend, said “I am happy to be a part of Alpex Solar’s journey. The legendary cricketer retired as a coach after winning the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Dravid’s storied career lasted over two decades as he played 164 Tests, 344 ODIs and one T20I representing India.
