The Indian cricketer, Ajinkya Rahane has invested in You Need Contents, which is the Indian division of You Need Character and curator of the kids’ animation series, Cricket Pang. He has been the brand ambassador of the animation show since 2021. Rahane joining the entity as an investor will help the brand reach Indian households, and encourage the audience, especially kids, to actively participate and pursue sports.
Cricket Pang is currently aired on TV and OTT channels in India, Korea, and the UAE. To establish themselves in the Indian Market, they entrenched a local entity in Bengaluru, India, in December 2021. The company is also diligently working and pursuing a different and wide range of projects via Cricket Pang IP for education, character licensing, publication, and spatial entertainment.
The CEO of YNC, Minsu Song hinted at establishing a scholarship foundation in India to support cricket scholarships for the young aspirants in India alongside Rahane.

Being a sports enthusiast, I am confident about the success stories that will be written by Cricket Pang IP in India. As a shareholder, I will work closely with the brand to ensure our products reach a wider audience in India.”
Alongside this, You Need Character is all set to participate in the Indian Education Exhibition DIDAC in Bengaluru in September 2022. Meanwhile, the Cricket Pang Motion Box would start operating at Imagicaa from October 2022. With this initiative, the company aims to fasten its local business in India with an aim to launch its first Cricket Pang Sports Theme Park, Cricket Pang Land, in Bengaluru in 2023.
