The English Football club, AFC Bournemouth have announced the renewal of their partnership with Uber Eats, the leading online food delivery platform.
This renewed collaboration has strengthened the club’s commitment to enhance the fan experience on matchdays.
As the Cherries’ official food delivery partner, Uber Eats offers a diverse culinary selection, catering to every palate. Fans can conveniently savour their favourite pre-match meals, half-time snacks, or post-match celebrations without leaving the stadium’s comfort.
But the partnership extends beyond mere food delivery. It champions local businesses, injecting life into Bournemouth’s vibrant food scene. By collaborating with Uber Eats, the club promotes these restaurants, providing them with much-needed exposure.
Following the partnership renewal, AFC Bournemouth Commercial Director, Rob Mitchell, said, “We’ve really enjoyed working with Uber Eats over the past few seasons and we’ve had a lot of fun with our clean sheets promotion. We’re looking forward to that continuing over the next two years, while also supporting local businesses in and around the Bournemouth and Poole area.”
Jamie Evans, Senior Territory Account Manager at Uber Eats, also commented, “We are really excited to begin our third season partnering with AFC Bournemouth, reiterating our focus on Bournemouth as a city, and spotlighting some of the fantastic local restaurants. Over the course of the last two years, we have relished the flexibility to build bespoke activations, and with the Clean Sheets campaign quickly becoming a fan favourite, we jumped at the chance to keep the momentum going.”
Uber Eats is a widely used food delivery platform, that connects users to a vast array of local restaurants. Its user-friendly app allows browsing menus, placing orders, and tracking deliveries, offering convenience for those who crave their favourite meals without venturing out.
This announcement follows a series of successful sponsorship agreements secured by the Cherries, including deals with The Village Gym, Goadsby, ESET, Bournemouth University, LEOS International, Utilita and bj88.
