Deepcoin has strengthened its global sports marketing strategy after securing a regional sponsorship agreement with the Argentine Football Association (AFA).
The global cryptocurrency exchange has become a regional sponsor of the Argentina national football team for the entire commercial cycle leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The multi-year agreement forms part of AFA’s expanding international partnership portfolio and provides Deepcoin with access to one of the most commercially powerful national team brands in global football. The partnership covers the qualification pathway and tournament period of the 2026 World Cup, offering sustained opportunities for brand integration, fan engagement, and digital activation across key international markets.
Through the collaboration, Deepcoin will gain regional marketing rights linked to the Argentina national team’s intellectual property and commercial assets. The partnership is expected to include a series of fan-focused initiatives aimed at strengthening engagement between global football audiences and digital financial ecosystems. Planned activations are set to feature exclusive campaigns, limited-edition merchandise, and experiential opportunities connected to international fixtures and tournament build-up activities.
Claudio Tapia, President of the AFA, said, “We are delighted to welcome Deepcoin into the Argentine National Team family. As the AFA continues its global expansion, we are committed to partnering with industry leaders who share our vision for technological innovation. Deepcoin’s technical excellence and relentless pursuit of performance perfectly align with the spirit and competitive standards of Argentine football. This collaboration will further extend our global reach and create more opportunities for fans to connect with the glory of our champions.”
Ego, Founder and CEO of Deepcoin, added, “Football is a sport defined by precision and passion. For Deepcoin, this is more than a sponsorship; it is a resonance of values. By continuously optimising our trading products, we aim to empower global users to make clear, precise judgments in volatile markets, just like elite players do in critical moments on the pitch.”
Founded in 2019, Deepcoin operates a global digital asset trading platform supported by proprietary trading infrastructure and liquidity solutions. The company has increasingly leveraged sport as a strategic marketing channel to accelerate international expansion and strengthen brand visibility across high-growth markets.
For AFA, the agreement reinforces a broader commercial strategy centred on partnerships across fintech, digital payments, and technology sectors. The federation has actively expanded its international sponsorship portfolio following Argentina’s recent global success, attracting brands seeking to engage with one of football’s largest global fanbases.
Deepcoin joins a growing roster of AFA partners, including Ant International, Google Gemini, ATFX, Lexar, Amul, and HSBC, reflecting the federation’s continued success in attracting global commercial partnerships across multiple industries.
The partnership highlights the increasing convergence between sport and digital finance, with cryptocurrency exchanges and fintech platforms continuing to invest in football properties to build credibility, expand international reach, and develop technology-driven fan engagement ecosystems. With the 2026 FIFA World Cup set to be the largest edition of the tournament to date, long-cycle sponsorship agreements are becoming an increasingly important strategic tool for brands seeking sustained global visibility and audience connection.
