Adidas India was roped in as the official performance footwear partner of the Indian delegation for the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2022, held in Birmingham, England, lined up from July 28 to August 8, 2022.
Adidas launched its latest performance product, Supernova, which featured a customized backpack and duffle bag for the athletes as part of the official CWG kitting during the athlete send-off ceremony. The sportswear brand has always been the frontrunner in providing elite quality performance gear to athletes, in order to show its support and encouragement.
The upcoming multi-sporting event consists of some prime athletes of Adidas, namely Mirabai Chanu, Lovelina Borgohain, Hima Das, Nikhat Zareen, Manpreet Singh, Jeremy Lalrinnunga, and Manika Batra, who would be rooting for the gold in their respective arenas.
Speaking on this partnership with the IOA, Sunil Gupta, Senior Director-Brand Adidas, said, “We are incredibly proud of this partnership with the Indian Olympic Association for the CWG.
