AC Monza name Motorola as new jersey sponsor

The 2022/2023 season game jerseys, which would feature the trademark "M" on the chest, were unveiled following the agreement.

AC Monza made an announcement declaring Motorola, the international telecommunication corporation based in the United States, to be their newest jersey sponsor.

The 2022/2023 season game jerseys, which would feature the trademark “M” on the chest, were unveiled following the agreement established by the club’s CEO, Adriano Galliani, and the manufacturer’s CEO, Carlo Barlocco.

Following its promotion in the Serie B season of 2021–2022, the team will now compete in the top division of Italian football, Serie A.

WithU, a company owned by Europe Energy, previously sponsored the shirts of AC Monza.

Galliani, AC Monza CEO, remarked, “We are very proud that an iconic and prestigious brand like Motorola has captured the desire to become great that we have in Monza. The sponsorship is based on shared values such as style, innovation and modernity. We are convinced that through teamwork new mutual successes will come to celebrate together.”

Barlocco, CEO of Motorola, said, “Motorola and AC Monza have an important history behind them and in the last 3 years they have embarked on a rapid growth process. In fact, both brands have entered the hearts of Italians. We are very happy to be able to help support the growth of Monza, a team that will continue to give us great emotions and with whom we feel we share a lot.”

Earlier this year in April, Motorola also inked a jersey sponsorship agreement with the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB).
