The Serie A club, AC Milan have announced a new partnership deal with the Danish watch brand, About Vintage as the team’s official watch partner.
About Vintage is a Danish and internationally known watch brand that produces higher-material wrist watches. With the announcement of this new collaboration, the two firms are getting a head start on a partnership based on style and innovation which are the two principles that distinguish AC Milan and About Vintage in their respective fields. In accordance with the spirit of About Vintage, this strong alliance intends to commemorate significant events, beginning with AC Milan’s 19th Scudetto (championship) this season.
AC Milan and About Vintage have released a limited-edition watch commemorating the club’s 19th league title. The ‘2022 Rossonero‘ model was envisioned, crafted, and built with the club’s over 500 million global fans in mind.
This timepiece is characterised by its fan homage and references, beautiful design, pragmatism, a contemporary look, as well as several components that differentiate the model. Moreover, the watch has a red and black bezel with a distinctive triangle replacing the number 12, signifying the twelfth man on the field, the fans, to whom the product is devoted. A star substitutes the number 10 on the bezel, which further includes the number 19 in honour of the club’s 19th Scudetto this season. Besides that, the watch face features the phrase ‘Sempre Milan‘ (Always Milan) which is influenced by the jersey from the final title bout against Sassuolo.
Ultimately, the AC Milan logo appears on both the winding crown and the back of the watch, where it would be preceded by an inscription of the Scudetto number 19 and the words ‘Forza Vecchio Cuore Rossonero‘. A personalised message can also be etched on the back of the watch, attempting to make each piece truly one-of-a-kind. The limited-edition watch has been made available for purchase between June 27 and August 1, 2022, on About Vintage’s official website.
