AC Milan, Gatorade ink a new sponsorship deal

Gatorade will support AC Milan's on-field performances in both domestic and European club competitions.

Gatorade, which is co-owned by PepsiCo has been signed as the official sports drink by the Italian giants AC Milan’s men’s and women’s teams.

According to the agreement under this deal, Gatorade will support AC Milan’s on-field performances in both domestic and European club competitions and training with its technical products and materials.

The partnership between AC Milan and Gatorade for both male and female teams represents PesioCo’s Sports Drink a step forward in supporting brand excellence. An enhancement of women’s football in line with the values of equity inclusion of Milan, a club that has a strong belief in the growth of women’s football in Italy.

Casper Stylsvig, AC Milan Chief Revenue Officer, said: “We are delighted to welcome an iconic brand such as Gatorade, which is a synonym for sporting performance, into our family of partners. This partnership with Gatorade fills us with pride because it is the result of the brilliant work done by the Club in enhancing the appeal of the AC Milan brand on a global level.”

AC Milan as an institution is back on track with both on-field and off-field performances. Earlier, the Milan club announced its financial results reporting a loss of €96.4m, which is half of its record deficit of €194.6m in 2019-20. The club has attributed this improvement to on-pitch performances. The Rossoneri are back in the Champions League and are all set to challenge for the Serie A title this season. They have won nine of the last 10 games and are level on points with the league leaders Napoli.
