AC Milan appoint Hally & Son as official fashion eyewear partner

Hally & Son was founded in 1959.

AC Milan have signed a partnership with Hally & Son, making the eyewear company the Rossoneri’s official fashion eyewear partner. The club won the 2021/22 Serie A and is expected to associate with multiple elite sponsorship deals.

The official statement by Milan read, “AC Milan and Hally & Son are delighted to announce a new partnership, which will see the brand owned by Avm1959 SpA become the Club’s new Official Fashion Eyewear Partner.”

Hally & Son was founded in 1959, the first design was manufactured by a craftsman addressed as Mr. Haller. Thus the brand was named after him.

The brand, which is owned by Avm1959 SpA, will gain exposure through the Serie A team, and the two have stated their intention to combine “style and elegance” with “innovation and passion.”

Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer of AC Milan said, “Today marks the beginning of a path that binds two brands that are able to represent Italian style in the world very well. We are very proud to welcome Avm1959, and in particular to an icon of Italian eyewear like Hally & Son, within the Rossoneri family.”

Jacopo Romano, CEO of Avm1959 SpA said, “Milan perfectly represents the winning mentality and the continuous drive for innovation that has made them the best export product of Italian football over the decades.

“The results of last season once again demonstrate how we can reach the pinnacle by redesigning first the operating model, as a Milanese and a Milanista I am extremely proud to associate Hally & Son with this extraordinary club.”

Red Bird Capital, a private equity firm, recently secured an agreement with the club. According to the terms of the agreement, Red Bird became a major shareholder of AC Milan. The transaction is the world’s second most expensive football club acquisition.
