Abu Dhabi T10 league ropes in Rise Worldwide as its official agency

The upcoming edition is set to commence on November 19.

Rise Worldwide, the sports marketing company has been roped in as the exclusive commercial and media rights agency for the Abu Dhabi T10 cricket league in a multi-year deal.

In this agreement, Rise will be selling the tournament’s central sponsorship, including global media rights and in-stadium advertisements for the upcoming edition which is set to commence from November 19. Rise will also be responsible for the broadcast production.

In the previous month, the Indian media group Viacom18 acquired the broadcast rights to the upcoming edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 league. This is the first time the tournament won’t be broadcasted by the Indian pay-television broadcaster Sony Pictures Network, which bought the rights for the previous four editions of the competition.

Matthew Boucher, chief executive of Abu Dhabi Cricket, said, “Together with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Department of Culture & Tourism, we are thrilled to partner with Rise Worldwide as we continue to evolve the brilliant Abu Dhabi T10 into one of cricket’s most exciting destination events.”

The highly anticipated forthcoming tournament will be played between November 19 and December 4, featuring eight teams who will play their fixtures at the Zayad Cricket Stadium.

The previous edition of the tournament which was held earlier this year between January and February had secured coverage in 100 countries. The 2020 edition of the tournament had to be delayed as the Indian Premier League was played in the UAE in October-November.

The Northern Warriors won the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2020-21 by defeating Delhi Bulls by eight wickets in the final at Sheikh Abu Zayed on February 7.
