The San Francisco 49ers and U.S. Bank have extended their long-standing partnership through a new multiyear agreement, expanding the financial institution’s commercial presence across team branding, premium hospitality, grassroots sport and athlete-focused financial services.
The renewed deal will see U.S. Bank continue as the 49ers’ official bank partner, while adding a new branding position on the team’s practice jerseys. The bank will also become the presenting partner of the East Field Club at Levi’s Stadium, strengthening its access to premium hospitality and client-entertainment opportunities on game days.
Community and participation initiatives form another significant component of the expanded relationship. U.S. Bank will support the 49ers’ girls’ flag football programming, beginning with the 2026 49ers FLAG High School Girls Showcase in September. The bank will also continue its backing of 49ers PREP and 49ers Cal-Hi Sports, extending the partnership’s focus across youth development and high-school athletics.
The agreement further incorporates 49ers talent into U.S. Bank’s marketing and financial education strategy. Running back Christian McCaffrey will feature in a U.S. Bank campaign during the 2026 NFL season, while tight end George Kittle will collaborate with the bank to promote U.S. Bank Financial Edge, a programme designed to provide financial guidance to professional athletes.
Brian Formisano, California Regional Executive, Branch and Small Business Banking for U.S. Bank, said, “We’re proud to extend our partnership with the San Francisco 49ers, a relationship that reflects our shared commitment to supporting the Bay Area and creating meaningful experiences for fans, clients and communities. This extension builds on a strong foundation and opens the door for even more impact, from expanding opportunities in girls’ flag football to connecting with fans in new ways at Levi’s Stadium. We’re excited to continue showing up alongside the 49ers in ways that matter both on and off the field.”
Kevin Hilton, 49ers Executive Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, added, “U.S. Bank has shown up for the 49ers Faithful and the larger Bay Area community for a long time; we’re proud to extend our impactful partnership for years to come. Over the years, U.S. Bank has helped us create meaningful programs, from supporting youth sports to enhancing the fan experience at Levi’s® Stadium. We look forward to building on that momentum and benefiting fans year-round.”
The partnership will also include a redesigned 49ers-branded debit card and an entitlement game on October 19, when San Francisco hosts the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football.
The extension builds on a relationship that began in 2014 and follows U.S. Bank’s broader expansion within the NFL as its official bank and wealth management sponsor. The bank previously arranged financing for the development and construction of Levi’s Stadium.
